DIY - CPU Casing built-in Coin slot with timer...

Do it yourself.... You can make your own CPU casing built-in coin slot with timer recycle made from power supply casing...




First thing to do is to prepare your defective power supply and old CPU casing..






Open your power supply unit...

Get the cover casing of the power supply

Measure the cover to CPU casing


Cut the cover a little side by side

so that cover will fit to CPU casing



Make a guidelines of the covers

Cut the guidelines using the steel scissors


After cutting make a hole of the guidelines

Attach the cover to the CPU casing

Get the 4 screws of the power supply fan

Use the 4 screws to hold and lock the cover both side make a hole


Detach the front cover of the floppy drive

Make a hole that can for the display timer



Attach the front cover you can use the glue gun to hold the timer

Spray it or paint it

So now your CPU casing is built-in coin slot with timer

How to replace hardisk drive of ACER 3935 model laptop.


How to replace hardisk drive of ACER Aspire 3935 model laptop.

First thing to do is get the battery before you disassemble the unit.

At the bottom view of the laptop you can find the 11 screws and remove them. 

You can see a small cover of the Wi-Fi card remove that. 

Disconnect the 3 wires black, gray, white and remove 1 screw there 

Unplug the Wi-Fi card module.
Open the laptop to see the keyboard at the top beneath, you can find the 5 tiny lock holders to be push forward to unlock the keyboard module.


 Then disconnect the ribbon cable of the keyboard.

 Detach the top cover of the power button assembly.

then disconnect the ribbon cable of the power button 

Now you can see underneath the keyboard there are screws, connectors, wires..

Get the 3 wires of the Wi-Fi card

Loosen the 3 screws
 Disconnect all the connectors

  after that you can see the 2 screws at the top left and right of the LCD module.
 Remove the screws so that you can detach the LCD module


Then detach the whole top cover assembly there are clip holders just be careful
 
Underneath the top cover assembly you can see the Hardisk drive with chassis

 and remove the screws so that you can replace the new hardisk drive.
There are 4 screws side by side of HDD chassis

So that's it... You can now assemble back the unit and 
don’t forget the connectors, cables and screws where they belong.
